Dr. Adam Meylor is owner of Meylor Chiropractic and Accupuncture in Kernersville, North Carolina. Dr. Meylor grew up in Summerfield, North Carolina and attended Northwest Guilford High School. After graduation he attended the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa as a legacy following the footsteps of his father and 65 other family members.

After graduation he attended the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa as a legacy following the footsteps of his father and 65 other family members. In addition to earning his Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Meylor completed courses in animal adjusting, and earned his certification in extremities and many other adjusting techniques. While at Palmer, Dr. Meylor was captain of the men’s lacrosse team and a member of the men’s rugby team. To further his chiropractic education, Dr. Meylor participated in a trip to Fiji, where he provided chiropractic care to a medically underserved population. Dr. Meylor is passionate about chiropractic the associated health benefits. He and his staff strive to provide quality chiropractic care.
Dr. Meylor is focused on the health and healing of the total body. His goal is to not only treat pain, but treat and correct the underlying cause of patients’ symptoms. Dr. Meylor is committed to providing the best care to alleviate pain and restore the balance that leads to optimal health and well being. His adjustment techinques include Gonstead, diversified technique, flexion disctraction, ART, knee chest and many more. Dr. Meylor treats a diverse patient population including newborns, pregnant women, athletes and seniors. Meylor Family Chiropractic and Accupuncture offers state of the art digital x-ray, ultrasound, cold laser, muscle stem and intersegmental traction. Dr. Meylor treats patients with an array of problems including chronic back pain, migraines, sciatica and gastric reflux among many other conditions. He also handles accidents and worker compensation cases. Initial consultations are at no charge and the office accepts most major insurance plans.
Dr. Meylor is a member, and Vice President of the North Carolina Chiropractic Association and a member of Pinnacle Management Group. Dr. Meylor regularly attends chiropractic and medical seminars which allow him to remain at the forefront of chiropractic. When he is not in the office, Dr. Meylor is active working on the farm, riding ATVs, boating and enjoying time with family. Dr. Meylor is a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Kernersville Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Dean Meylor is a native of Cherokee, Iowa. He is a graduate of Palmer University of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, where he interned at the Gonstead Clinic and the Troxler Clinic. He then earned a post graduate degree in chiropractic orthopedics and his certification in acupuncture.

After graduation, he practiced for 12 years in Cherokee, Iowa, moved to Greensboro, North Carolina and practiced there for 35 years. He is currently practicing with his son, Dr. Adam Meylor, in Kernersville, NC.
Three of Dr. Meylor’s brothers entered the chiropractic profession, as well as his son, Dr. Adam Meylor, his daughter and her husband, Drs. Jessica and Robert Benningfield of Mooresvile, NC. The extended family includes over 50 doctors of chiropractic, one of the largest chiropractic families in the country.
